Tour Life Unfiltered: What It Really Takes to Keep Performing

People see the lights, the outfits, the crowds and yes, tour life looks glamorous. But here’s a little peek behind the curtain…

Tour Life Unfiltered: What It Really Takes to Keep Performing

The Other Side Of The Glamorous Tour Life

Touring is a full-on adventure. It’s early morning rises that feel like marathons. It’s running from flight to flight, often connecting through wild airports (Frankfurt, I’m looking at you — land in Zone A, sprint to Zone B, gate 47… haha!). Hotels change, car rides are long, time zones throw your body out of whack.

Then there’s the prep:

  • Hair, makeup, outfit, wardrobe checks
  • Warm-ups — vocally and physically — before stepping on stage
  • Eating right and protecting your energy
  • Meeting and greeting fans, photos, autographs
  • Keeping your social media on point
  • And yes, even braving turbulence on flights while staying calm

It’s a lot. And yet… I wouldn’t swap it for the world.

A few weeks ago, someone in a café said to me: “You’re living my dream life.” And they’re right, it is a gift. Touring, performing, sharing music, connecting with people it’s joyful, chaotic, exhilarating and exhausting all at once.

But here’s the thing: life on the road reminds you about balance and boundaries. I’ve learned to protect my energy, focus on the projects that bring joy, and embrace every moment without taking it for granted.

I may not know exactly how long I’ll keep touring at this pace, and that’s okay. Some years are about performing, some about pausing, some about creating in different ways. The magic is in staying aligned, grateful, and connected to the music and to the joy it brings.

Tour life isn’t just glam. It’s dedication, energy, laughter, chaos and bliss — all wrapped up in one incredible, sweaty, high-vibe adventure. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I also know that one day, I’ll put my mic away. And when I do, I’ll cherish every single memory every stage, every laugh, every fan, every note sung and I’ll carry that joy with me forever.

Until then, I’ll keep performing, creating and sharing love through music. And if you want to relive some of those high-energy MAXX moments, check out our YouTube channel — feel the music, the memories, and the love energy for yourself.

Touring with Maxx taught me so much about performing, connecting, and showing up fully. And it’s that same energy I bring to everything I create now, from my solo music to helping others raise their vibration through sound.
