Awaken Your Bliss: Feeling the Love Energy Through Music

I want to talk about bliss. My bliss. The world is bliss. Can you feel it? Can you feel the Love Energy? Get ready, here’s a little backstory…

Music was my first love

Believe it or not, I’ve been singing and songwriting since I was 14. Yep, a long time. But there was a period where I couldn’t. My mind kept telling me I was finished, done and my heart was hurting.

I’d fallen out of love with music. The fire in my belly had died. A bad experience in a band with two other girls, completely different values, beliefs and lots of drama had shaken me deeply. For a few years, I couldn’t do it anymore.

Then one day in 2011, something shifted. I’d been working as a freelance vocal coach with adults who had learning difficulties. We were choosing songs with positive meanings and uplifting lyrics and as we sang that day, I watched the group. Some came alone, some with carers but all of them started to move, sway, smile and just feel the music.

I drove home that day and went straight into my music room. I began to sing. It felt different. And in that moment, I spoke to my higher self, God, Source, Creator, Guides – whatever you call it and said:

“Use me. Use me to send positive music through me to help heal this planet. It’s what I came here to do. Don’t let me waste another moment.”

And then I heard the words: Love. Love Energy.

I was shown that the planet, even back in 2011 was going to change. A higher frequency would begin to filter in more joy, more light, more love. So that’s what I decided to call my first solo album: The Love Energy.

15 Years Later… The Love Energy Music is still going strong

Now, 15 years on, here we are. Even with the chaos in the world like never before, I can feel a blissfulness running through me. A joy I can’t fully explain, a happy inner feeling that just is.

Can you feel it too? I hope so.

Because the more chaotic, hard or uncertain the world becomes, the more we need to embrace higher vibration, better frequency and more love and compassion. To open our hearts, fully, to love.
