How AI Is Changing the Music Industry (And What It Means for Independent Artists)
AI is taking over the headlines and now, it’s taking over the studio and changing the way music is created.
From AI-generated songs to robot-made vocals, we’re seeing music created at the click of a button. Sounds efficient, right?
But as an independent artist who pours soul, sweat and frequencies into every track… I’ve got thoughts.
Because what’s happening right now isn’t just about tech — it’s about truth, connection, and the future of music with meaning.
From 90s music to today AI-generated music
I’ve been in this game for a long time, from singing live across the world with my 90s Eurodance group MAXX, to now creating high-vibe healing music tuned to frequencies like 432 Hz and the Solfeggio tones.
What I create comes from my life.
From grief, joy, rebirth, recovery, real love, real heartbreak. My vocals carry energy. My tones are chosen with purpose.
So when I hear songs that were never sung by a human, or see AI “collabs” with artists who never said yes — I feel a weird little ache inside.
Because no matter how clever the tech gets, there’s one thing AI can’t replicate: soul.
That said, I’m not against AI. In fact, I’ve been experimenting with ChatGPT lately, and to be honest… I actually love how quick it is. I use it to help me write emails, tidy up messages, brainstorm blog titles, even plan content, anything that saves me time and energy in my little music biz.
It’s like having a digital assistant that’s always ready to help. But here’s the thing: I don’t rely on it to create my work. It doesn’t write my lyrics, sing my songs, or channel frequencies through my voice. It’s a tool — not the heart of what I do.
So while the mainstream may chase the next fast AI sound, we’re over here creating music that’s real. That heals. That vibrates at a higher level — literally.
So what does this all mean for you, the listener?
